Solo exhibition at Østre – House for sound art and electronic music, Bergen. NO. 08.04-12.04.2016
8-channel sound installation
Treverk (Woodwork) is an ongoing series of installations based on audio recordings of minuscule movements in trees. The recordings were done with contact microphones and an ultrasound recorder. The project started in 2010 and the work shown at Østre is the fourth one in the series. Transducers have been attached to the logs in which the recordings were originally captured, allowing the sound to be affected by the logs in real time.
Curator: Admir Korjenic (Østre/Maksimal)
Treverk (4) was supported by PNEK-Production Network for Electronic Art, Norway (travel grant)
